This is my heartfelt birthday reflection. Blending faith, business, and purpose. Sharing lessons from running Kisumu Electronics Hub and working at International Christian Centre (ICC Kisumu ) on staying consistent, grounded, and grateful.
Birthdays have a special way of slowing us down. They make us pause, look back at the roads we’ve walked, and quietly whisper, “God has truly been faithful.”
Today, as I celebrate another year of life, I find myself deeply reflective , not just about age or achievements, but about purpose. The truth is, life hasn’t always been easy. There have been seasons of stretching, waiting, losing, rebuilding, and learning. Yet, through it all, one thing stands firm, God never wastes a season. Can I hear an Amen!
Faith, Work, and the Call to Build
Running Kisumu Electronics Hub has been one of the most refining parts of my journey. Business teaches you patience. It humbles you. It pushes you to grow thicker skin, to stay consistent even when results seem delayed, and to believe in your vision even when few people understand it.

There are days when things flow smoothly, and I honestly love such days when deliveries go on time, customers are happy, and sales are great.
But there are also days when everything seems to move in slow motion. Those are the days that test your faith. And it’s in those moments that I’ve learned this truth:
“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” Psalm 127:1
Every sale, every satisfied customer, every challenge overcome, it all reminds me that business isn’t just about profit; it’s about purpose. It’s a ministry in itself. Through Kisumu Electronics Hub, I have seen how work can be worship when done with integrity, excellence, and love for people.
Serving in God’s House
Serving at the International Christian Centre (Kisumu ICC) has shaped my spiritual backbone. Ministry reminds me that life is more than what we do, it’s about who we’re becoming. Serving in the pastoral staff has taught me to lead with humility, to depend on grace more than gifting, and to see people the way God does.

Balancing business and ministry isn’t always simple. There are moments when I feel stretched thin between the marketplace and the pulpit. But over time, I’ve realized, they’re not competing assignments.
They’re complementary callings. One fuels the other. My work in business sharpens my discipline and resilience, while ministry keeps my heart anchored in God’s purpose.
Lessons This Year Has Taught Me
If there’s one thing this past year has emphasized, it’s that growth is rarely glamorous. It’s messy, uncomfortable, and often hidden. But here are a few truths I carry forward into my new year:
1. Purpose outlives seasons. Even when circumstances shift, God’s calling doesn’t expire.
2. Consistency wins battles that motivation can’t. You don’t always need to feel inspired, sometimes you just need to stay faithful.
3. People matter more than profit. Success without compassion is empty.
4. Rest is holy. Sometimes God’s greatest instruction is simply, “Be still.”
5. Faith is a daily decision. Whether in ministry or business, trusting God remains the greatest investment.
Looking Ahead with Gratitude
As I step into a new year of life, I do so with gratitude, for grace, for growth, and for every person who’s been part of this journey. I’m not where I want to be yet, but I’m certainly not where I used to be.
To everyone building silently, showing up daily, and trusting God in the middle of uncertainty, this is your reminder: keep going. The process may be hidden, but God’s hand is not.

Your vision is valid. Your effort is seen. And your story is still being written by the same faithful God who began it.
So here’s to more grace, more impact, and more purpose; in business, in ministry, and in life. Because at the end of the day, all that truly matters is that we lived fully, loved deeply, and walked faithfully.
“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6
If this reflection speaks to you, keep pushing forward. Don’t despise your small beginnings, build with heart, lead with purpose, and trust that God is crafting something beautiful out of your journey. If you need to hear more of my journey through this season, feel free to contact me.
